The Law of Attraction, Quantum Physics & You!

I love teaching. I love taking a complex subject and breaking it down into a simple, understandable idea. I think that this will be my most difficult undertaking yet, but I want to write about the unseen forces of the universe. For me, understanding these concepts meant everything and put my life in perspective. I hope that this helps provide clarity for you too.

The Law of Attraction

You’ve probably watched ‘The Secret’ or know a little bit about the Law of Attraction, but if you are like most people, you don’t really understand how it works. According to Wikipedia, The Law of Attraction is based on the ideas that people and their thoughts are made from ‘pure energy’, and that a process of like energy attracting like energy exists through which a person can improve their health, wealth, and personal relationships.

The Field

In the scientific world, quantum physics has proven that this ‘pure energy’ exists. Quantum physics calls this energy the ‘field’. Albert Einstein said, “The field is the sole governing agency of the particle.”  This ‘pure energy’ exists, and it affects your physical world including your health, wealth, and relationships. Therefore, if you want to make a change in your physical world then you need to start in the field. Where’s the field? It’s everywhere. There is nowhere that it doesn’t exist. It’s all-powerful and all-knowing.

Quantum Physics

Dr. Joe Dispenza, author of Becoming Supernatural, provides us with a simple definition of quantum physics. He says, “your mind and matter are so intimately connected that it’s impossible to separate the two.”

The bottom line is that your mind can affect matter. This is a very powerful concept. That’s why it is important to know what your mind is doing. You must be aware of your thoughts and know that you can change them at any time. You can think a positive thought or a negative thought- it’s up to you. There is no one in your head thinking for you.

Your Mind affects Matter

Your mind affects matter. Dr. Joe Dispenza is great at explaining how this works. He says, “The emotion is the magnetic charge, your intention, your thought, is the information that’s carried on that wave. And when you combine a clear intention with an elevated emotion, you begin to produce an effect on matter. You see, the thoughts that you think are the electrical charge in the quantum field. The feelings that you emote are the magnetic charge in the quantum field. And how you think and how you feel broadcasts an electromagnetic signature that influences every atom in your life.”

What are you broadcasting?

Given that explanation from Dr. Joe, what electromagnetic signature are you broadcasting to the universe? What are you thinking about all day? How do you feel most of the time? Your awareness of what you are thinking, and feeling is the baseline for your personal transformation. If you are ready to change your life, then you need to start thinking differently. You need to think in terms of possibilities. You can be, do, or have anything that you desire.

Building Momentum

Have you ever had a day where you stubbed your toe when you got up, were late for work, couldn’t get the printer to work, forgot your lunch and on and on throughout the day nothing worked? All you wanted to do was to go to bed and start over the next day. Well, that’s an example of negative energetic momentum. You can have positive energetic momentum too. The more positive you think, the more open you are to possibilities and the more positive things will happen to you and for you.  Your life can become one of magic, miracles, and manifestations!

Here are three things that you can start doing for a more positive day:

  • Meditate – Sit quietly and focus on quieting your mind. You want to disconnect from your existing reality in order to create the reality that you want. Start with 5 minutes per day and build up to 15 minutes per day.
  • Gratitude – Practice feeling profound gratitude for all that you have throughout the day.
  • Joy – Look for things that bring you joy. It might be a meal, a conversation, or a flower. At the end of the day write it down. “It brought me joy to _______________.”

You are a powerful creator!
