Feeling like you’re not quite in love with your life and ready to make a change?

I’m so glad you’re here!!

Here’s what I know about you:

You’ve been going through the motions, trying to keep up with everything life throws at you, but you can’t shake the feeling that something is missing. You want to live a life that excites you but don’t know where to start.

Together, we can change that.

I’m Beth, and I’m thrilled to “meet” you. I’m a certified hypnotherapist, energy healer, best-selling author, teacher, inspirational speaker, spiritual mentor, and self-proclaimed soul surfer.

…but I haven’t always been.

Hi, I'm Beth.

I was born in Los Angeles, and my childhood was set against a dirty, dismal, dreary gray concrete jungle. It was suffocating. So the moment I could (at only 17!!), I moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly, which was GLORIOUS. I loved it so much that I worked multiple jobs in order to be able to afford to stay in the area.

I got married and had 2 (absolutely wonderful) children…but my marriage wasn’t healthy, as my husband struggled with addiction – again, I felt like I was suffocating. I knew I had to get out, so I went back to school to get my teaching credential (at night – I still had to teach during daylight hours…oh, and be a mom to two boys!).

When I graduated, I immediately began substitute teaching. We moved to a ranch where the children could run (and I could finally have some animals!)…but my husband’s job required him to be away for months at a time – which made me the primary parent and caretaker…not too long after, my husband left after Christmas, and never returned. I filed for divorce and put my whole self into my children (my 2 boys + the 25 in my classroom).

I taught for 20 years and loved educating young minds – 3rd graders are so much fun!! I was able to use my knowledge of agriculture and the environment to develop and build (with a LOT of help!) a 5,500-square-foot garden (that is still thriving today!!) so that the children could learn where food actually comes from (and play with worms! LOL).

But, as a single parent, I quickly realized that my pension wasn’t going to be enough for me to live on if I wanted more than just to “scrape by.” This thought nagged at me, so I began to research investing and financial planning…

So I joined a financial services company and became fully licensed as a financial advisor 6 months later…which meant I now had TWO jobs (because I wanted to help my friends and colleagues have a stress-free retirement, too).

In 2012, my mom passed away quite suddenly (she discovered she was ill, and just 2 weeks later, she was gone) – she was my best friend and my rock. I was crushed…but I think she knew I would be, as she had pre-planned her Celebration of Life, which was lovely – and during that, many of her friends came up to me and said they had a good feeling about the coming year.

Those who said the coming year would be a good one were right – in addition to changing financial firms, I also attended a one-day retreat in Santa Barbara designed to help us evaluate our lives – and it was incredibly insightful and transformative.

The host asked us a very important question: what are you doing between NOW and DEAD?

It hit me like a gut punch…because I didn’t know. This question continued to bounce around in my brain…so I started devouring personal development books (I read everything: Stephen Covey, Jim Rohn, John Maxwell, Brian Tracey, Tony Robbins, Malcolm Gladwell, Darren Hardy, and T. Harv Eker…and more) as I continued working TWO jobs.

I began maintaining a crazy-busy schedule (plus being a mom of two teenage boys!) for 5 years until my financial advising income exceeded my teaching income in 2015; I left my teaching career and became a full-time financial advisor.

Not too long after, I was invited to participate in a mentoring program led by a leader in the financial services industry – and I soon became a mentor for the program, even creating my own courses with a colleague.

I found that I loved mentoring and helping people. I not only taught them business skills but also to believe in themselves.

I began to realize that while I was great at writing my business plans, setting goals, and figuring out the how…I knew that something was missing – I needed to look inward.

So I set my timer for 5 minutes, quieted my mind, and asked God, “Who Am I?”

And I realized my soul was screaming for more joy, more abundance, and more freedom.

At that moment, I knew that I couldn’t keep “waiting” to do the work I knew I was being called to do.

In January 2019, I felt a deep calling to take my teaching skills and experiences and use them to help others.  I knew that I needed to teach others how to trust that they, too, are meant for something greater, that they can dream again, and that they can be. That they can do or have anything they desire. They can be excited and look forward to every day with joy, love, and anticipation!

I had my answer – and I quickly laid the foundation for my new business and started teaching workshops locally. I was getting amazing feedback from people attending my events.

I am on a mission to help you live a life you love and stand in fearless faith, nonresistance, and unconditional love.

I strongly believe that every human deserves to feel empowered and confident, and that’s exactly what I aim to achieve through my teaching.

By tapping into your higher power and using techniques like hypnosis and energy work, we can work together to uncover and release any negative emotions or limiting beliefs that are holding you back.

If you’re open to exploring spirituality and taking control of your own healing journey, I would be honored to work with you.

Please note that my approach is not tied to any particular religion, so if you’re grounded in a specific faith, my services may not be the best fit for you.
